WHAT NBPC OFFERS

To Churches, Chapters, and Membership

 

·         NBPC advocates for justice, and fight against the many manifestations of racism, while affirming the rights of all constituent groups.

·         NBPC promotes evangelism and church growth and assists chapters in designing leadership development, evangelism and church growth seminars, identifying potential resource persons, and networking with presbyteries, synods, and General Assembly partners.

·         NBPC represents its member constituency on the Racial Ethnic Cross Caucus and General Assembly entities while promoting the core values of the organization(s)?

·         NBPC provides assistance to chapters and churches interested in urban ministry and church-based community organizing.

·         NBPC provides technical assistance in the area of fund raising and identification of project specific grants.

·         NBPC provides consultative services to assist chapters and regions in strategic planning, organizational and program development; and if invited, is prepared to offer services in conflict management to the chapters, churches, and presbyteries.

·         NBPC assists interested chapters in initiating negotiations with presbyteries, synods, and the General Assembly to identify resources and staff partnerships.

·         NBPC assists chapters interested in developing global and international mission initiatives. 

·         NBPC provides articles and position papers on related issues of importance to Presbyterians who are African American and others of African descent.

·         NBPC maintains a web site for the constituency to provide important organizational / program information and other relevant information related to spiritual and church growth.
